Thingvellir National Park

Visit the Thingvellir National Park, the original site of the oldest existing parliament in the world. We will walk through part of the mid-Atlantic ridge, a rift that is slowly pulling.

South Shore Excursion (with Farm visit)

First stop is the most visited waterfall in Iceland, Seljalandsfoss. Enjoy the breathktaking view and for those prepared to get a bit wet, a walk behind the waterfall will be rewarded with a stunning perspective. Proceed to the Eyjafjallajokull Visitor Center and Porvaldseyri Family farm located at the base of an active volcano. Hear accounts of the last eruption in 2015 and watch a dramatic 20 minutes film showing the power of Nature and how the farm "rose from the ashes".

"Golden Circle" Excursion

First up, a stop at the “Queen” of Iceland waterfalls, the 3 layered Gullfoss Waterfall. Next, we head to the Geysir Geothermal area with abundance of bubbling hot springs and the exploding Strokkur geyser.

Langjokull Glacier tour

At Iceland's 2nd largest glacier, hop on the mountain truck for a ride to the glacier camp where we pick up the snowmobiles (2 persons to 1 snowmobiles) and enjoy a fun ride to the top of the glacier.

Akureyri city orientation

After lunch, have an orientation tour of Akureyri covering Akureyrarkirkja Church, with its dominant frontage and a drive up to the Hlidarfjall slopes to enjoy sweeping view of the city and its sparkling bay.

Blue Lagoon Premium Indulgence

The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. Spend some free shopping/leisure time in Reykjavik city centre before heading for our farewell dinner in a fabulous restaurant, inside the Perlan.

Husavik & Lake Myvatn tour

After breakfast, head to the famous “Whale town” of Husavik for a sublime Icelandic Horse riding experience and visit the Husavik Whale Museum. Return to Lake Myvatn and stop at Namaskard with the boiling mud pools and vibrant colours. Next up, walk through the peculiar lava rock formations of Dimmuborgir, with its fascinating odd shapes rock carvings.
